Oxford, Mississippi

When Tim and I travel, I analyze how other cities and towns build their respective areas with a goal to bring back ideas to Alabama. Oxford, Mississippi has a beautiful downtown. One of our favorites is Square Books, which has an excellent reading selection, including signed copies. City Grocery offers amazing fine dining, and there are several boutiques for men and women, coffee, and restaurants. The downtown is walkable, small business friendly, and pays tribute to local legend William Faulkner. Well-done, Oxford.
