It was an honor to introduce 1 Peter 3:12-22 at Huntsville First United Methodist Church this morning. Peter wrote this letter at a time in history when early Christians were actively persecuted for their faith. The passage addresses how as Christians, we need to be prepared for the criticisms that accompany being believers, and it also reveals strategies on how to keep focused on the Prize.
