Bankhead Liaison Panel Meeting

Thank you to all who participated in the Bankhead Liaison Panel Meeting on 3 May, which included updates from Wild Alabama, US Forestry Service, USDA, and the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division. Topics discussed included trail improvements to Bankhead, hunting in the Black Warrior Wildlife Management Area, stewardship contracting, integrated resource timber contracts, volunteer opportunities, and community and school partnerships including the Hemlock Monitoring Project and the White Oak Acorn Project.
