Thank you to all who collaborated to form the Invention to Innovation Center (I²C), a regional initiative on the UAH campus that accelerates commercialization of technology-based ventures through incubation, co-working, mentorship, funding, and strategic support. As an alumna of UAH, it is wonderful to witness another expansion that fosters creativity and incubation of ventures that support all of Alabama's dominant industries. #Our67
Today the Huntsville-Madison County Historical Society met and featured Carol Codori, who presented on the history of the nineteenth-century sidewalk - now beautifully restored on our Courthouse square. #Our67

TBT: When you look at the number of quality projects Alabama has won over the past few years, it is easy to recognize that we are living in a blessed time in our state's economic history. #Our67 #teamwork #jobs #QualityOfLife /
February 2016 - Our state's inaugural Economic Growth Summit celebrated Alabama’s recent economic development projects and fostered ideas to make Alabama our nation's most attractive state for business. I was honored to introduce Alabama Department of Commerce Secretary Greg Canfield and the panel discussion entitled, "Site Selection Experts: National Economic Trends and Emerging Industries."
Thank you to Yellowhammer News and the Alabama Department of Commerce for coordinating such an insightful conference.
Since 1974, Dynetics has been an integral part of Huntsville’s business climate. Started by two engineers, Hershel Matheny and Dr. Steve Gilbert, the company grew from 25 employees in its early days in Huntsville to over 2,030 employees in nine locations throughout the United States. Dynetics is now a 100% employee owned organization, making it the seventy-sixth (76th) largest majority employee-stock ownership plan (ESOP)-owned company in the nation and the second largest in Alabama. It brings us great joy to witness this fantastic organization’s steady growth over the years; Dynetics employs a deserving group of leaders always willing to give back to our community.
