Memorial Day 2021

5/31/2021

With freedom comes great sacrifice. On Memorial Day, observed this year on Monday 31 May 2021, we express our enduring gratitude for members of the Armed Forces who have fallen while in the line of duty.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
John 15:13

Thank you, North Jefferson County Republican Club, for the opportunity to provide members with an Alabama economic update along with Judge Christy Edwards, who gave an Alabama judicial update. It was refreshing to see so many folks interested in our state's economy, judiciary, and civic engagement. - Dr. Nicole Jones #Our67

The Fitz Gala

5/8/2021

Tonight The Fitzgerald Museum hosted its annual Fitz Gala in Montgomery. Tim and I had a beautiful time and enjoyed dressing up in a Roaring 20s/Great Gatsby theme. The event is the museum's largest fundraiser and sold out. As a board member, I would like to extend the opportunity for you to visit this very special home dedicated to the life of F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald soon!

Zelda was from Montgomery, where you may notice streets, plazas, etc. named after F. Scott and Zelda. The Fitzgeralds lived in the mansion on Felder from 1931 until 1932, where they wrote portions of their respective novels, Save Me The Waltz and Tender Is The Night. #Our67
