Thank you to all who filled out the Census. Leaders in the public and private sector throughout Alabama’s 67 counties collectively emphasized the importance of Census participation, and civic responsibility paid off. Alabama is a shining star, our home, and we are thankful to retain the same amount of representation in Washington to speak on behalf of Alabama’s 5.03 million voices. #Our67
Dr. Nicole Jones More here in the Alabama Political Reporter: https://www.alreporter.com/2021/04/27/alabamians-strong-census-response-led-to-retention-of-all-congressional-districts/ It was great to hear from Cam Ward, Director of the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles, at today's River Region Republicans Luncheon. The Bureau is working closely with Ingram State and other community colleges to equip inmates with skills to enter the workforce upon release. This is critical to combatting recidivism. #Our67
April 27 is a day that will forever resonate with Alabamians. Today we pause to remember the families who lost loved ones on 27 April 2011.

Thank you to everyone who filled out the Census! #Our67 GOOD NEWS 🚗 : Partnerships between the public and private sector have contributed to Alabama’s position as a national and global leader in the automotive industry. Since opening in the Montgomery area in 2005, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) has manufactured over 4.75 million vehicles and 6 million engines. The plant employs approximately 3,500 Alabamians from diverse educational backgrounds. HMMA sits on approximately 1,744 acres of land and encompasses 3.4 million square feet of space. Hyundai understands operations, logistics, and teamwork. The company follows the just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing model, cross-trains workers, employs a variety of amenities to retain employees, and emphasizes community engagement. Folks around our state are excited about the production of the Santa Cruz in Montgomery, set to begin this summer. #Our67

The hickory-fired ribs quickly became local favorites. This iconic restaurant still has the best signature sauce and is worth the visit! #Our67 #RollTide
ROLL TIDE: At A-Day, we saw an impressive team. This year's game was special because Nick Saban honored the 2020 Championship team as well as Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith, and the new flag went up at Bryant-Denny Stadium. #Our67
Our state has talented local bakers. We found an impressive presentation of macarons at a French patisserie (in Alabama) today. #Our67
Spring weather is great for hiking around Alabama. Here are a few photos of the mosaics we found when we visited DeSoto State Park. The mosaics pictured can be found on the steps leading to DeSoto Falls. #Our67
At the conclusion of last week’s legislative spring break, Tim and I took a trip to Mississippi. We visited Square Books in Oxford and found hard-to-find Dr. Suess treasures that he since gifted to the Arley Public Library (#Our67), and we received a sneak-peek of Morgan Freeman’s restaurant, Ground Zero Blues Club, which reopened in Clarksville on 1 April. #TimWadsworth #NicoleJones #ArleyAL
Tim and I found beautiful signs of an Alabama spring. Happy Easter weekend to all of our friends and loved ones! #Our67
