Thank You, Law Enforcement

A special young visitor yesterday told me he wanted to be a police officer because officers are, as he sweetly stated, “community helpers.” What a prime opportunity to introduce him to members of Huntsville Police Department, who took a few moments out of their day to greet this child with a smile, a sticker, and a few kind words.

Respect for authority and respect for the law enforcement profession starts young, and it is time that we restore honor to the men and women who risk their lives every day so we can be safe. Thank you, to all of the men and women of law enforcement for your service; we appreciate you.
