US History : Today is Presidents' Day (Washington's Birthday).
​
In honor of Presidents' Day (Washington's Birthday), I am showcasing one of the few hand-stiched 48-star flags in the state of Alabama, purchased from local historian John Kvach, which hangs in my office. Whether looking at a 48 star or 50 star flag, President Washington would marvel at how much our country has expanded!
