Townley, in Walker County, Alabama, has one of the most impressive adaptive reuse projects we have seen. A dedicated group of folks converted a former school building into a community center, which houses a gym, Headstart program, a Walker County Sheriff’s Substation, and the Walker County Sports Hall of Fame.
