Governor Kay Ivey presented the Space and Rocket Center with a $10 million dollar grant for Cyber Camp, the largest gift in Rocket Center history. Pictured with Congressman Mo Brooks and I is Anslee, a tenth grade student from Franklin County and beneficiary of a Cyber Camp scholarship.
Cyber Camp is a workforce development initiative aimed to prepare high school students for success in competitive technological markets. We have incredible brainpower in Alabama, and the Cyber Camp program will help foster the skills needed for future careers in the public and private sector. Thank you to leaders from around our state for helping to bridge the gap between schools and business/industry to aid in workforce development. Comments are closed.
