On this day in history, 14 December 1819, Alabama was granted admission into statehood.
We write our history by staying involved. Thank you to all who selflessly contribute to make Alabama a remarkable place to live. #Our67 GOOD NEWS : Broadband internet is a request that virtually every major business desires when locating within Alabama. Access to high-speed internet/fiber will increase our state’s ability to recruit jobs, improve healthcare, and enhance educational opportunities for students. Thank you to Governor Kay Ivey and ADECA for making efforts to address the unique challenges in all of Alabama’s 67 counties through the Alabama Community Broadband Technical Assistance Program (TAP). Public funds combined with private sector investments is a team effort that helps initiatives come to fruition and ultimately enhances the quality of life for Alabamians.

The additional terminal and gates will make Mobile, AL more competitive with other regional airports such as Gulfport, MS and Pensacola, FL. Commercial airlines will have increased opportunities for growth in a facility closer to downtown Mobile, major industrial sites, the Port, and interstates. Ultimately the project will help us keep business here at home, which is exciting for the entire state of Alabama.”

Long range shooting is a hobby of mine, and it was a unique experience in snowy Montana scenery. Thank you to the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus for coordinating this outing. #Our67 #Wadsworth
Finally made it to Buc-ee’s in Athens and overheard a funny conversation while navigating the crowd:
“Where’s momma?” “Is that her? Maybe. I think she’s over there by that jerky wall!” We are glad to have another Buckee’s in #Our67! Tim and I enjoyed the beauty and walkability of downtown Bozeman during the Sportsmans Caucus Conference. #Our67 #Wadsworth
