Thank you, Alpha Tau Omega, and to all who organized the eleventh Battle of the Buffalo for Russell Hill Cancer Foundation.
Battle of the Buffalo began in 2009 in memory of Paul “Fish” Salmon, an Alpha Tau Omega brother diagnosed with leukemia in 2006 who underwent treatment at the Clearview Cancer Institute (CCI). Paul was a senior at The University of Alabama in Huntsville when he passed in 2007. In 2009, the men of Alpha Tau Omega hosted their first festival centered on Buffalo wings, Paul’s favorite snack. To date, the event has raised over $160,000 for the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation and the HudsonAlpha Foundation and continues to support local cancer patients undergoing treatment at CCI. #Our67
